Backdoor.Mtron

Description:  Backdoor.Mtron is a backdoor Trojan that records financial activity and sends it to a remote attacker using IRC. It also gives the attacker the ability to download and run files on the infected computer.

Removal Instructions For Symantec & Norton Users:

1. Disable System Restore (Windows Me/XP).
2. Update the virus definitions.
3. Run a full system scan and delete all the files detected as Backdoor.Mtron.
4. Delete the value that was added to the registry.
