Trojan.Ascetic.A uses its own SMTP engine to send a message to addresses
found on the infected computer. The email sender address is spoofed. The
subject and message body are randomly-chosen German text.
Removal Instructions For Symantec & Norton Users:
- Disable System Restore (Windows Me/XP).
- Update the virus definitions.
- Restart the computer in Safe mode or VGA mode.
- Run a full system scan and delete all the files detected as
Trojan.Ascetic.A.
- Reverse the changes made to the registry
