X97M.Crex is a macro virus that infects Microsoft Excel 97 (and later)
spreadsheets. If the system date is greater than January 2, 2004, it will
attempt to remove the component, "universelle."
Removal Instructions For Symantec & Norton Users:
- Disable System Restore (Windows Me/XP).
- Update the virus definitions.
- Run a full system scan and repair all the files detected as
X97M.Crex.
